 About Us

Martin Art NY is a virtual art gallery primarily promoting artwork and artists centered on the New York City metro region.

It is published by The Martin Art Trust (TMAT), which was created in 2017 as a holding entity for the art collection of Josh Martin. Martin is actively engaged in this project, serving as managing editor and chief correspondent for Martin Art NY, as well as its companion site, Artsy Fartsy Martin Art.

Martin is a veteran journalist, whose work has appeared in numerous journals and magazines, including The New York Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Middle East, The Financial Times, Euromoney, Outside, and In These Times.

TMAT has also acquired works by up-and-coming artists, including  George Towne, Jane Kent, Jeff Miller, JAM, Kent Lau, Tai Lin, James McDonough. Richard Heeps, Ward Lamb, Jim Watt and Graham Marks.

Martin Art NY endeavors to give artists and art lovers the opportunity to reach out to each other, to enjoy the process of viewing and acquiring fine art.
